So I’ve been sick for the past two days. I haven’t felt terrible, just fatigued with some yummy head/throat/moving-into-my-chest congestion. I have slept a lot, so I have quite a bit of schoolwork to do. I have to make up a Precalc quiz and do a Latin skit. And do APUSH terms. And Precalc homework. And Chemistry homework (which I do super slowly). And my term paper, which I feel good about, but have a million questions concerning various little details. And learn all those Camelot lines.

Overload
Wednesday, February 16th, 2005Not So Good
Friday, February 11th, 2005I have had a bad day. I am sick and exhausted. I stayed up late last night typing the persuasive section of my term paper, doing/redoing Chemistry homework, and reading in preparation for the DBQ. After barely making it out of my nice, warm bed, I went to school and started writing the DBQ (from about 7:55, through my first period Study Hall) and finished just seconds before the bell rang at the end of the period.
I am really tired and sick and stuffed-uppy.
I feel that accomplishing anything in Chemistry is futile. I am an incredibly slow and organized worker, so I didn’t finish two problems on yesterday’s test, losing 40 points. I am upset because I knew what to do and was doing well up to that point. The problem is that if I work any faster I will make a mistake. Without any partial credit, even a tiny little mistake (such as in the last test, when I found a value to be 0.00500, but then in the calculation process wrote it as 0.0500) will make the entire question wrong.
Tomorrow is a nice early morning start for the Science Bowl thingy.
I am exhausted and must go to bed.
Anniversary
Tuesday, January 25th, 2005Some time around January 20th makrs my seventh year of Tae Kwon Do. YAY!
On a different note, my AP US History Teach, Miss (NOT Ms.) Ledlie, announced that she is not coming back next year. I am sad because she is a great teacher with excellent stories. But not too fall-into-depression-and-write-poetry-like-Emily-Dickinson-sad. It is also sort of happy because she is going to law school, and it wasn’t a big shock because she had discussed law school before.
Happy Term Paper Season!
Sunday, January 9th, 2005I just printed 78 pages of opinions.
Alas, I Shall Miss Thee, Solid Food! Heu!
Thursday, January 6th, 2005The Chemistry field trip today was fabulous. Nothing great, just a needed break. The TACT-ful Chemistry Musical was just like last year’s, with only two different acts. I love hydrogen balloons+fire! Because we started a little bit late and had to wait for a really late school to arrive part way through the show, we had less time at the mall than last year. We arrived back at school halfway through APUSH, where we read the wonderful website frankgeorge.com and predict NFL results.
Camelot is getting naughtier every day.
I have consumed “The Last Supper” before my surgery tomorrow. Goodbye, wisdom teeth!
